Greatest sporting accomplishment: As a junior in cycling – competing at State and National levels for the QAS in both Road and Track events. My best result would have been getting 4th at the 1999 Junior National Road Championships. Recent accomplishments since getting back on the bike is getting into ‘A‘ grade and competing in the Tour of New Zealand (UCI 2.2) which was an unforgettable experience.

How you became involved in the sport: In 1998 I was elected into the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) through the Talent Search Identification program. I competed as a junior for 4 years, however, gave up the sport for a good 7 years after that. I recently returned to cycling in 2008.

Advice for Young Athletes: Listen to your heart and follow your dreams. With determination and dedication, you can achieve whatever you put your mind to, anything is possible.
Hobbies and Interests: Amongst a fulltime job and cycling when I can, the rest of my time is spent, eating, recovering, sleeping and reading. I love reading books like biographies, criminal profiling and forensic psychology.
Favorite Food: Cup Cakes ( anything gluten free I can get my hands on I'll eat)
Favorite Drink: Red Wine and Coffee
