Nick Formosa is the director of Cadence Cycling and Back2health. He is a Level 2 Cycling coach with a background in fitness and lifestyle coaching after having completed a Diploma of Exercise Science. He has 25 years of experience within the sport as both an athlete and a coach. He was selected to represent Malta in the 2006 Commonwealth Games which shows the high level of commitment, dedication and skill.
Nick is currently contracted to the Queensland Academy of Sport as an Assistant Cycling Coach. He was awarded the 2009 Coach of the Year by the Cycling Queensland Association after being recognised for successfully training athletes to State, National and World Championship level. His greatest satisfaction comes from athletes reaching their absolute potential. He aims high but also has that distinctive quality that empowers others to find and maximise their own potential.
His greatest inspiration comes from his parents Manny and Mary Formosa who moved to Australia from Malta with no money, for a better life for their children. Nick loves what he does and his enthusiasm and dedication is contagious.

Aaron fell into triathlon at the age of twelve and has now been involved in triathlon and cycling for twenty years as an athlete and coach having raced over all distances from sprint to Ironman. His coaching has taken him across the globe with Australian representatives at U23, ITU Junior and Age Group level across all distances.
Aaron is a perfectionist at heart and leaves no stone unturned in his efforts to ensure each and every Fit client leaves the Studio in their optimal position and enjoying their bike to the full.
Aaron completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise & Sport Science in 1999 and has since completed numerous coaching related courses including the TAHP Level 3 Elite Triathlon Coaches course. Aaron has been a coach educator at Level 1 and 2 Triathlon Coaching courses for the past nine years and Is an accredited ITU Facilitator.
Aaron was tinkering with position whilst an athlete and student and took that interest further in 2003 when he started coaching full time. He has been a Retül user since 2009 and is currently one of only a handful of Retül Bike Fitters worldwide awarded the Retül University Associate Faculty certification. In Australia, Nick is the only Fitter awarded a higher level of certification - Lead Faculty.
Trish is a level 1 cycling and level 2 middle distance running coach who has competed in a variety of endurance sports for over 20 years including cycling, ironman triathlon, running and mountain biking. Trish is a 2 times Australian National Masters cycling champion, who has competed professionally as a road cyclist achieving podium results in national level events in the USA and Australia.
Trish has coached athletes to state titles in cycling and triathlon and was also awarded Qld Masters Cyclist of the Year in 2010. Trish holds degrees in Science and Education, which combined with her coaching knowledge and 15 years’ experience as a secondary school teacher, provide a strong foundation of continuous learning that allows her to deliver coaching programs for athletes of all levels to realise their true potential.
Trish is passionate about working with athletes, both male and female to create programs that provide a balance between the priorities of life and their athletic goals. She draws inspiration from seeing athletes she works with successfully achieve their goals from the programs she has designed.
