3D Bike Fit System

At Cadence Cycling, we recognise that a proper bike fit is essential for performance, comfort and injury prevention.  That's why we use the state-of-the-art Retul (3-D) system to optimise your riding position.  Using this, advanced system, Cadence Coaches can collect accurate and realistic data from seven key anatomical points in your riding position.  This then enables them to profile existing (before) and ideal (after) angles for your custom needs.

The Retul System captures dynamic data from you as you ride which allows us to replicate the most realistic movements of your body that take place on the road or trail. The Retul software then compiles the data in the most comprehensive rider fit report available on the market, which summarizes sub-millimeter accurate bike-fit specific measurements in 3-dimensions. The Retul system also captures traditional performance data such as cadence & power.

3D MOTION CAPTURE BIKE FIT ON EXISTING BIKE: $299

EFFECTIVE 01/01/12

Includes:

• Biomechanical analysis
• Cycling-specific flexibility/functional strength assessment
• Dynamic data capture of 3D full body movements to determine optimal position
• Real-time recording of power output and physiologic response to help determine optimal position
• Comprehensive digital reports of 3D and 2D body parameters, 3D bicycle fit coordinates, and bike frame geometry
  

**An additional bicycle is priced at $149 when bikes are fit consecutively (for example road and mountain bikes fit back to back).

FRAME BIKE FITTING / 3D MOTION CAPTURE BIKE FIT (USING RETÜL MÜVE): $350

Includes:

• Biomechanical analysis
• Cycling-specific flexibility/functional strength assessment
• Dynamic data capture of bilateral 3D body movements to determine optimal position
• Real-time recording of power output and physiologic response to help determine optimal position
• Comprehensive digital reports of 3D and 2D body parameters, 3D bicycle fit coordinates, and bike frame geometry
• Accurate and objective recommendation of optimal frame geometry and parts
• Follow-up appointment for final bike setup
  

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT: a $149/HOUR follow-up appointment is available for clients who have already been through a Retül analysis, and are in need of adjustment.  A follow-up appointment is appropriate for a bike that has been fit by Retül within one year prior to the follow-up appointment date. A follow-up appointment is appropriate for part changes and recommendations.

Each bike fit is approximately 90-120 minutes.
